One of these days I will update my blog on a regular basis! Until then, I will continue to add a few random sentences on as time allows. :)
Random sentence #1. School has started and I am not enjoying getting 3 kids out of the door by 8am everyday and out the door to pick up the eldest from school everyday. Getting everyone is the car and out for drop off or pick up takes about 5x longer than it should. Why did I decide to not homeschool? Sigh.. Ok rant is over..
Random sentence #2. #1's sentence was way more than sentence.
Random Sentence #3. I just love living in the country! It's so peaceful!
Random Sentence #4. I swear I love being a woman but I am mostly excited and have been anticipating fall for one thing...Hoodie Sweatshirts!! I could wear them everyday all day!! It is the definition of comfort meets power suit.

What's on my mind-
Homeschooling
My daughter wanted to go back to school this year... So we're giving it a try.I just can't shake the homeschool bug so I've been very eagerly coming up with a Preschool plan for my 3 year old. I am very excited and looking forward to our new schedule.
Also.. My son is awake.. I like schedules.. My 4 month old usually sleeps through the night from about 10:30-7am.. But today he decided to be wide awake at 4am... And I can't stop thinking about how this will effect my day with my older kids today... Is it too early to start my coffee... Where is my espresso machine? O yeah, I don't have one. Have to add that to my Christmas list.
I heard something amazing yesterday and I have been so excited that I am going to try it! Baby led weaning!! I am all about no fuss and leave out all the bells and whistles with this baby and he seems to be my happiest yet so I think this might just work! Anyone have any experience with this? Let me know!
What else... I had no idea that the train comes by twice between the hours of 3-4:30am.

Homeschool: Day 1
Today was the very first day of homeschool for "Vivi" and I. I was nervous about how it would go and if I was going to be left scratching my head wondering what to do next. I was nervous my daughter would get bored and want to go off and read or we would have arguments over tv as if she was home on vacation. Luckily we spend lots of time on prayer and in preparation before we took this new journey on. And to my very bright surprise our day was AMAZING! We spent a half our in the morning praying and reading our verses for today. We talked about some of the rules for today and we jumped right on into it. Throughout the day she did her work without a complaint and we got to discuss everything together. we broke up some chores through the day and she was beyond willing to do laundry, offered to do more than what was expected of her and had a wonderful attitude while working. Being able to pray before and after each task was such a blessing.
I was so happy that I was able to really lives out the benefits and blessing that homeschool has to offer. I got to interact and witness first hand when her eyes light up when we talk about a subject that she really enjoys. I got to hear her prayers out loud and spend a minute in awe after hearing what a wonder heart she has. I could not have expected such blessings from this opprtunity. I can not stop praising God for speaking to me clearly and giving me such blessing.
I know there will be days where I won't finish all the work and I will be beyond frustrated and tired and exhausted with the day but I thank God for sending me encouragement with such a wonderful first day!
